Ladies and Gentlemen.. Lads and Lasses.. hunks and babes.. all the cool and not so cool souls, it is time for another thank you speech (sob sob).
Crossed 1000 views for YoMacha.WordPress.Com (Clap Clap), made first few 1000 for the portal (Clap Clap Clap), have almost 1000 people working out of office (eight people out of our place is equal to 1000 people in an office), alexa ranking moved up (clap clap), Vandana’s computer is back to the department fixing computers (hope they can solve it, clap clap), Neeti changed her computer, bullied Varsha to use the one she was using, Varsha realized (What i had realised way back), that this one as well needs a repair (clap clap). Priyanshu, the new guy in the office is lost (clap clap). Amandeep and Snigdha completed their first days, they were quite surprised on the way our office is, hopefully they will come back (clap clap).
Our old friends don’t like us anymore, Mr. Microsoft does not come to our office, Mr. Akshay Patra is busy feeding others and have been ignoring us ever since, Mr. Beyond is trying hard to get some hair back, Mr. Himi has found someone in India, so is off to Delhi to see her. Mandu after realizing that she is our love has decided to play “judai” with us.
Overall, we are growing (age wise, health wise, traffic wise, people wise and otherwise). We think this blog should grow as well, thinking of starting a gossip section on the blog, what say?? Gossip about people and celebrities?? What do you think??

While misfortune has struck India, Bangalore, Ahemdabad and day three of bombing spread over the country, the YoMacha office prays for peace to the souls who are no longer between us, peace for the country, peace for the ones who have thought and executed the ugly act. May they realise what they have done, may almighty give them senses.
While above has shattered the country, we soon are gonna be hit by a cramped office. Hiring 4 new people will make the office cater to Eight people while the capacity is only 5. That’s as good as double the capacity.
Mandu is officially the love of our office with three out of four people in love with her (two of them are women, Sailor might like that). Mr. Microsoft has not visited us for a while (he is on a trip with his Russian “friends” and does not look like he will be back anytime soon). We are hopeful that Himanshu “Himi” will be catering to our food requirements now, as he the among the very wella in the city now a days.
After being COO of GMI, I have decided I would go for a traineeship in the coming few months (I know it sounds dumb and idiotic, but then when did I say I was sane). In case you know of any (not in India), do let me know.

The headlines for the day….
Life at Yomacha! has become slow these days.
Ajit A.K.A Aj is struggling hard to find people for his Client Servicing Team and does up down everyday between the two offices.
Vandana A.K.A Vandy is working on another project now and looking for more people for support.
No tech guy has been hired till date, the search is still on.
Mandira (our Princess) is happy that its end of the July now, and soon her wait will be over.
Varsha feels like working today (i.e. 25July’08) so is still in the office.
And I(Neeti), as usual don’t feel like working, but hungry and want to sleep and missing the Fun..
That’s all for now……
These have been the most pressure days for the YoMacha team.. Focus is changing, costs are rising, traffic says Hi and then says Bye, very difficult to track what people are lovviinnggg and what they are not?!
I think I can switch my role to being a designer, I learnt how to make newsletters and some simple dreamweaver stuff, Vandana learnt how to confuse a guy when he is not confused at all, Neeti learnt how to teach.. our tech guy said bye bye, so we are hunting for a new one, the new one might just be a girl which would mean that YoMacha office will be the only office in India which has women majority and men minority (its is not a great sign, as less as only 1/5 of employees are men).. basically too much happening in the office with almost nothing happening at the same time.
Our key brand endorsers recently visited our office, Mr. Microsoft (yes again) was in office, so was princess mandu singh (after she had sailed enough and realized that there are other people on earth than the sailor), and the one who is gonna feed us in case we go broke (haha) Mr. Akshay Patra.
Jokes apart, we soon will be changing our office (yippeee), and soon will have some new features as well (ye ye ye) so keep checking YoMacha Baybeh! Cause it’s gonna be HOT this Monsoon! (Couldn’t have come up with something more weird, I am mastering this art. Courtesy: Vandana and Neeti, actually Mandu Singh is a big add on to it as well)

It may seem an out of the blue posting, but as a person who have been fortunate to work with young people while being young myself, I would want to take the opportunity to highlight some things I have realized as a young Indian. This posting finds place on the YoMacha blog only and only cause if I average the age of people with the company, it would be 23 years approximately, which, I think is fairly young.
Ten things about India Young:
- Indian Youth is fairly aggressive and independent
- They are more inclined to starting up, or joining someone who is starting up
- They like fat salaries
- Indian Women are more reliable and high on delivery (personal experience)
- They would not endorse anything until they buy the idea
- They want to be famous
- They value relationships (personal belief)
- They are a brave breed, not scared to try new, unwilling to listen to anyone else but themselves
- “Dhoni effect” is for real
- They are influenced by west, as much as they retain their Indian element
The above are my personal beliefs and may or may not be agreed by my team people.

Being Silent: Is an Art you need to learn from Vandana. She was silent the entire day today. Like not a word, she would send you an email if she needs something. For a minute I thought she has some kind of “Vrat” (trust me you meet vandana and you know that’s the last thing she would ever do), but then she was that silent. You can imagine a Girl, and Quiet. Me and Saurabh were under a state of shock.
Being Random: Thanks to Simant, he has added the flavor of Random stuff on the portal. Check out the war between the two doggies on the war created by Simant.
Inspired by the same, I thought I will experiment with my creativity and came up with… Check it out.. below:
I know you love me!
After too much of praise from people would like to add things about the Offce Studs, the bug allayers.
Among these two, one is our BOSS, the Super King Ajit A.K.A Aj, the one about whom extolments have been already made. Still things to be added like, while working he always ends up finding more and more bugs, and questions i.e.,traffics kaise aayegaa, yeh aise kyun, and all that…and is always ready to help anyone and everyone even at 2am.
And then come the fantabulous Saurabh, the tech guy, the almight of YoMacha! An omnipotent who almost everyday end up finding a bug or two himself in the portal,then quitely asks to loggin and check. The only thing keeps him off the computer, actually not just one thing there are many, as the list starts with Beer, and continous with Non vegetarian food and ofcourse his phone, that rings at almost at the time when he is deeply concentrated in his work, and he is so quite that you won’t even hear him talking on the phone.(But trust me,when it comes to food, you can actually hear him, advicing people, and suggesting places..hehehehe..) And I am sure he is enjoying the company of a Chatter Box,who sits next to him, to know more please read the previous blogs.
For sure, thing common between these people is they are big time food lovers, and believe me, anything and everything will do when it comes to food, the bon vivants.
But yeah, the typical two are the craziest and the most courteous people, who really made the YoMacha! happen.
Now that the welcome bit is done. Thankfully, no one else has put up the team intro.. so I get the pleasure to do it (this will be fun!)
Saurabh: The Tall Guy
As silent as silence can be, gulps pitchers after pitchers in any party,
Has a thing for this little shorty, he may look cool, but is very arty.
Mr. Pitt almost looks like him, actually he is better when he gives that grin,
Tech tech boy, he is super slim, he is Saurabh, and he really needs a trim.
That’s Saurabh, the man who made the portal happen. The only thing that takes him off his computer is Beer. The phone starts ringing at 5 in the evening, these are mostly the women that are going mad about the guy.
Neeti: Blah Blah Blah
Talk talk talk, I talk more than a blog blog blog,
Give me food, give me shock, get one large on the rocks,
I am cool, a little fool, name is Neeti,
“Hum nahi peeti” (I don’t drink)
The internet Icon. The one who makes the traffic happen. The thing that keeps her off her computer, is her phone and a million conversations she has. I mean, I have not seen a person who can pull off a conversation with anyone, I really mean anyone. Sometimes you can find her talking for hours with the Chai guy too. You don’t believe it. Meet her. Now.
Vandana: Dhichkyaoon
This is wrong, That is wrong, I don’t like this song,
I need this, and this is that, ping is pong and pong is wrong,
logic is where, there not here, that is dare, and this is fair,
Vandana name, stop boring, play the game.
That’s Vandana. Honestly. The one bringing money and attention, what we fear is she giving a tight one to the one she is sending the proposal to. A google addict, eater (she can eat anything under the sun), knife collector (some of them almost swords) and a cold tea drinker (not Ice tea, but frozen tea).
